What is a mixed-flow fan? A mixed-flow fan is a fan between an axial fan and a centrifugal fan. The impeller of a mixed-flow fan allows air to perform both centrifugal and axial movements. The movement of air inside the casing is a mixture of axial and centrifugal movements, hence the name "mixed-flow". The structural features and components of a mixed-flow fan mainly consist of an impeller, casing, inlet collector, guide vanes, motor, etc.
The impeller uses several warped airfoil blades with meridional acceleration characteristics welded onto a conical hub. After dynamic balance check and overspeed test, it has excellent aerodynamic performance. The casing is cylindrical and connected to a collector with noise reduction function to form a whole. The outlet is equipped with guide vanes, which have excellent airflow distribution and stable pressure.
The mixed-flow fan is designed with secondary air intake to reduce the ambient temperature of the motor.
